Chinese Yam (Huai Shan Yao)
Traditionally used to nourish the Spleen and Lungs, promoting stamina and vitality – perfect for keeping up with the demands of a busy day.

Codonopsis Root (Dang Shen)
Known as a gentle energy booster, it strengthens the Spleen and Stomach, replenishing Qi and supporting digestion to keep you energised.

Solomon’s Seal (Yu Zhu)
Traditionally used to nourish Yin and support Lung and Stomach health, helping to keep your body hydrated and balanced.

Astragalus Root (Huang Qi)
Celebrated for supporting Qi energy and overall vitality, it’s a powerful immunity booster that helps you stay resilient.

Poria (Fu Ling)
Known for strengthening the Spleen and expelling dampness, it supports digestion and helps you feel light and energised.

Cordyceps Flower (Chong Cao Hua)
Traditionally used to strengthen Qi energy, protect the Lungs, and promote blood circulation – ideal for boosting stamina and endurance.

Red Dates (Hong Zao)
Sweet and nourishing, these are traditionally used to strengthen Qi energy, nourish the Blood, and calm the Spirit, helping you stay energised and focused.

Herbal flavour strength: moderate, umami

Just add protein, water and aromatics all into a pot and let the aroma fill your house with comfort. Level up with a serve of shiitake mushrooms.

Best paired with chicken, bone-in. You can also choose to create a vegan variation. 

Served on its own or as a delicious side. This method serves 4 mains or 6 - 8 sides.

Use as a broth base for a hearty noodle soup or congee.
